Depth, Experience, and the Power of Connection
For nearly ten years, I’ve helped people work through patterns that shape how they love, work, and connect. My approach is rooted in analytic psychotherapy and the power of group process—ways of working that look beneath symptoms to the emotional life underneath.
Clients often come to me after trying short-term methods or self-help advice that left them feeling better for a while but unchanged at the core. Together, we take a slower, more meaningful route. In both individual and group therapy, we notice what happens between us—how feelings emerge, how closeness and conflict unfold—and use those moments to understand the deeper emotional stories driving your experience.
My background brings together years of teaching and nearly a decade of advanced analytic study. Teaching at UCSF sharpened my ability to communicate complex emotional ideas clearly and compassionately. My long-term group training and clinical supervision have refined how I listen—not just to what is said, but to what is felt and left unsaid. This depth of attention allows therapy to become not just a conversation, but a living laboratory for change.
For almost ten years I’ve led therapy groups where people discover, often to their surprise, that the very struggles they feared would isolate them are what make connection possible. In group, you learn through experience that understanding others helps you understand yourself—and that being known in your full humanity is profoundly healing.
My goal is to help clients feel more real, more emotionally alive, and more free in their relationships. I don’t offer quick fixes; I offer a place to think, feel, and grow in real time. Whether you join a group or work individually, we’ll explore not just how to manage life better, but how to live it more fully—with awareness, courage, and connection.
